New stadiums were built and old ones were reconstructed. A great deal of security work has been done. Fans were given the opportunity to move from city to city for free.
The guests who came to the mundiale got into the atmosphere of an endless holiday, carnival. Everyone noted the hospitality of the hosts of the championship, from ordinary people to officials and President of Russia Putin. In the West there was a lot of information, how bad it would be in Russia, that there is no need to go. All this turned out to be propaganda inventions of the press.
Those who came to the championship in Russia were surprised that Russia is a free, hospitable country with a large, developed culture. Security in Russia is particularly noted.
